How do I measure my space?
We need to know the horizontal width for your 305 System. You will need to allow for clearance or extra space in your measurements between walls, columns, light switches and other features that you do not wish to cover. For a simple 4-step process of measuring for a quote, please download ourGetting Started Guide.
Can I install the system myself?
Yes. Please view ourInstallation Video for a full tour of the installation procedure. The 305 System is very easy to install with a tape measure, drill and a spirit level. We will also provide complete, easy-to-understand installation instructions in plain English with complete diagrams. You can also call us for more assistance at any stage of the installation.
What tools do I need to install it?
A tape measure, a drill with suitable drill bits for your walls, a Philips head driver for your drill and a spirit level.
What is the overall height of the system?
The first release of Simpliform 305 will be available at 1177mm high, and obviously to the exact width that you specify.
Can I change the back panels to another colour?
Yes. At any time you can order a new set of back panels and easily change them over yourself in a matter of minutes. Please contact us for more information.
Can I install the system in front of power points?
Yes. The 305 System has a minimum clearance of 20mm behind the Shelving Rails, and 70mm in between Shelving Rails behind the Backing Plates. Be aware that with this initial release of The 305 System, you will not have easy access to the covered power points, as you will need to firstly remove the Gable Ends, and then the intended Backing Plate (approximately 3-5 minutes). For the short term, you can drill cable holes through the Backing Plates and install one of our Cable Outlets to feed cables and wires. However there will be new developments to allow easy access to power points and light switches in the near future. Stay tuned or let us know if you want us to keep you informed.
